MATCH WEEK
Utah Volleyball will hit the road, returning to familiar lands, making the trip to #15 Arizona State and Arizona for its first Big 12 conference road trip. The Utes will head to Tempe on Wednesday, Oct. 2, taking on the Arizona State Sun Devils at 6:30 p.m. MT. Utah will conclude its trip to the desert, heading to Tucson to take on the Arizona Wildcats on Friday, Oct. 4 at 12 p.m. MT.
Utah fans can tune in on ESPN+ on Wednesday and Friday to catch both matches this week. Wednesday's match at Arizona State will be called by Braiden Bell and Alex Coil. Friday's match against Arizona will have Steve Quis and McKenzie Jacobson on the call.

• Utah is back in the AVCA top 25 conversation for the first time since August 2022, as the Utes are now receiving 20 votes in the most recent poll.
• As a team, Utah has averaged 14.6 kills per set with 13.3 assists per set. From the service line, the Utes are averaging 1.5 aces per set. On the defensive side of the net, Utah is posting 15.1 digs per set with 2.7 blocks per set.
• The Utes have won eight consecutive matches, closing out the non-conference slate and making the Big 12 debut.

• This will be the 46th meeting between the Utes and the Wildcats. The two sides split the final Pac-12 series, with Utah holding a 9-1 advantage over the last 10 meetings.
• Utah boasts an attack of three hitters averaging 2.0+ kills per set with a hitting percentage of .250 or better.Â

• Utah ranks among some of the best in the nation (2nd) and the Big 12 (1st) for kills per set, averaging 14.80.
• The Utah defense has held its opponents to a .139 hitting percentage, ranking them 10th in the nation and 1st in the Big 12.Â
• At the net, the Utes average 2.73 blocks per set ranking 2nd in the Big 12 and 27th in the nation.

Allie Olsen jumped up the national leaderboard for hitting percentage, ranking 24th in the nation and 5th in the Big 12 with a .420 marker.Â

Emrie Satuala cracks the top 40 in the country for hitting percentage, posting a .403 clip through 13 matches. Satuala ranks 36 in the nation and 7th in the Big 12.
• As a team, the Utah offense has put together one of the most balanced attacks in the country, posting a .287 hitting percentage, raking 14th in the nation and 3rd in the Big 12.
SCOUTING ARIZONA STATE
Utah vs. Arizona State: 20-17

Arizona State brings a 12-2 record into the match against Utah, winning four of the last five. The Sun Devils split their opening weekend of Big 12 competition, taking on a pair of top 25 teams, defeating #22 TCU in Fort Worth 3-0, before falling at #19 Baylor 3-1 in Waco. Geli Cyr led the Arizona State attack through the opening weekend of Big 12 competition, posting back-to-back double-digit kill matches with 17 and 18 kills. Cyr leads the Sun Devil attack with 161 total kills on the  season, averaging 3.58 kills per set. The Arizona State attack is backed by Shania Cromartie (2.56), Claire Jeter (2.32) and Bailey Miller (2.35) each averaging 2+ kills per set. At the net, Savannah Kjolhede leads the Sun Devil blocking effort with 43 total blocks. Argentina Ung is a threat to watch out for on the serve receive, leading the Sun Devils with 17 service aces, while averaging 2.29 digs per set.Â
SCOUTING ARIZONA
Utah vs. Arizona: 16-29

Arizona went into Big 12 competition unbeaten with an 11-0 record. The Wildcats suffered back-to-back road losses against a pair of top 25 opponents, falling at #19 Baylor (1-3) and at #22 TCU (0-3). Arizona has a variety of offensive weapons, as Jaelyn Hodge (3.76) and Jordan Wilson (3.20) each average 3+ kills per set, Carlie Cisneros (2.66) and Kiari Robey (2.39) add a second option for the Wildcats averaging 2+. Kiari Robey is the threat up the middle, leading the Arizona blocking effort with 43. Cisneros leads the Arizona receiving effort, averaging 3.32 digsÂ
