MATCH WEEK
Utah Volleyball will hit the road for the first time this season, traveling to the Windy City for three matches at the Loyola Chicago Invite. The Utes will take on host Loyola University on Friday and Saturday, Sept. 13-14, with Friday's match against the Ramblers set for 6 p.m. MT and Saturday's match taking place at 7 p.m. MT. Utah will end the weekend taking on Northeastern on Sunday, Sept. 15, at noon MT. Fans can tune in on ESPN+ to catch Utah take on Loyola on Friday and Saturday. Scott Sudikoff will be on the call on Friday evening for the match between the Utes and the Ramblers. Laura Benton and Alex Campbell will provide the commentary for Saturday's match. The Utes match against Northeastern will not be streamed, with live stats provided by Ramblers Athletics.

Beth Launiere enters her 35th season at the helm of the program. Utah Volleyball's winningest head coach heads into the fall season with a 653-420 career record.

Kamryn Gibadlo earned Utah Classic MVP honors, after the first week of competition putting down 36 kills throughout the three matches. Through the Utes five matches, Gibadlo has put away 53 kills, averaging 3.31 kills per set, with a .282 hitting percentage.

Allie Olsen recorded a season-high .600 hitting percentage in Utah's win over Cal, recording six kills on 10 swings without an error. Olsen has just four errors on the season and the third-highest hitting percentage on the team of Utes with 50 or more attack attempts.Â

Vanessa Ramirez ranks fourth all-time in career digs for the Utes with 1,496. Averaging 3.57 digs per set, Ramirez looks to eclipse the 1,500 career digs mark during the Utes first road trip of the season.Â
• As a team, Utah has averaged 13.19 kills per set with 11.50 assists per set. From the service line, the Utes are averaging 1.63 aces per set. On the defensive side of the net, Utah is posting 13.81 digs per set with 2.88 blocks per set.
• Utah's two matches against Loyola will  be the first time the Utes face the same opponent on back-to-back days since facing off against Weber State in three consecutive matches during the 1987 season.
AMONG THE NATION'S BEST

Rianne Vos ranks 16th in the country in hitting percentage, hitting .471 with 28 kills on 51 attempts and just four errors.

Emrie Satuala rounds out the top 25 in hitting percentage, with a .448 clip, putting down 32 kills on 58 swings and six errors.Â
• As a unit, Utah is one of the best blocking teams in the country, ranking in the top 20 at #19 with 2.88 blocks per set.Â
SCOUTING LOYOLA
This will be the first meeting between Utah and Loyola, as the two sides square off on back-to-back days to kickstart the Loyola Invitational. The Ramblers bring an overall record of 2-4 into the match, coming off a 1-2 weekend at the Michigan State Invite. Loyola picked up a win over Marist College (3-0) to open the weekend before falling to Western Kentucky (3-1) and host Michigan State (3-1). The Ramblers offense is led by Esma Ajanovic and Marta Cvitkovic with 49 and 48 kills apiece, averaging over 2.2 kills per set. Ajanovic (1.10) is also one of three Ramblers averaging just over one block per set, along with leader Chloe Morgan (1.40) and Avary DeBlieck (1.21). On the receiving end, libero Jae Fittin has tallied 93 digs through six matches, averaging 4.43 digs per set. The Ramblers were picked to finish second in the A-10 preseason poll, behind the University of Dayton.Â
SCOUTING NORTHEASTERN
Northeastern brings a 2-4 record into their first meeting with the Utes on Sunday. The Huskies come away from hosting their own home event where they picked up their second win of the season over Lindenwood (3-0) in the weekend's opening match. Northeastern fell in their final two matches, dropping the second match of the weekend to Florida Gulf Coast (3-1 and rounding out the weekend with a loss to Dartmouth (3-2). Jane Nelson and Kinley Gomez lead the Northeastern offense with 55 kills each, Nelson is averaging 2.62 kills per set while Gomez averages 2.39 kills per set. Millie Loehr and Kaylin Daniels will be the difference makers at the net for the Huskies, with Loehr averaging 1.43 blocks per set and Daniels averaging 1.29.Â

Utah Volleyball continues to battle on the road, traveling to the UniWyo Invite for three matches at the University of Wyoming. The Utes will play a doubleheader on Friday, Sept. 20, opening the weekend against UAlbany with first serve against the Great Danes set for 10 a.m. MT. Returning for the second match of the day on Friday, Utah will take on Coppin State at 3 p.m. MT. Utah returns to action for a doubleheader on Saturday, Sept. 21, taking on host Wyoming at 1 p.m. MT.Â
