Spring Practice for Utah Softball Starts Wednesday

Utes begin prepping for first season in Big 12

SALT LAKE CITY – Just one month separates the University of Utah Softball team from its 2025 season opener and the Utes are set to begin spring practice on Wednesday as they prepare for their first year competing in the Big 12 Conference.

2025 Schedule
Utah will kick-off a 54-game regular season slate on Feb. 7 with a matchup against Minnesota in Arizona and the team's 2025 home opener is set for March 20 against St. Mary's. That tilt against the Gaels will be the first of 14 matchups on the docket at Dumke Family Softball Stadium, with the last three taking place on April 25 – 27 against Iowa State.
