LUBBOCK, Texas – Utah Volleyball impressed in its final match of the regular season against Texas Tech, racing to a 3-0 sweep over the Red Raiders Saturday afternoon.
The Utes handled their business in the last conference match of the 2025 season (25-22, 25-19, 25-13) to end the year with a 15-14 record.

SET ONE
The first set started tight with 14 ties and six lead changes between the Utes and Red Raiders before the Utes put some distance between themselves and Texas Tech, 23-21.
Tech attempted to close the gap, 23-22, but Utah dug deep on an
Emrie Moea'i and
Allie Grossenbach block to get the set win, 25-22.

SET TWO
Texas Tech jumped to an early lead over the Utes, 7-3, forcing Utah to take a timeout and reset.
An ace from
Levani Key-Powell and Moea'i helped Utah dig themselves back into the set, 13-10, but Tech was relentless and pushed their lead to six, 16-10.

Utah made a comeback, going 5-0 to get within one and forcing Texas Tech to take a timeout of their own, 16-15.
The Utes stuck with it, going on a 7-0 scoring run to come from behind for the second set win, 25-19.
SET THREE
The Utes went on a 4-0 run to setup a 10-7 lead early in the third set.
Utah continued to plow through the third set, racking up an 8-0 run partially off a
Neea-Maria Joki ace to make the score 16-8 at the halfway point.
The Utes finished the day with the sweep over Tech on a 25-13 third set win, getting the set point from freshman
Lana Mijacic.

STANDOUT STATS
- Utes Total Stats: 36 kills off 90 total attempts, 10 aces, 35 assists, 11 blocks, 47 digs.
- Moea'i, Gibadlo, and Key-Powell each contributed a team high nine kills to lead the Utes to victory.
- Key-Powell and Isabelle Marco notched a team-high three aces (was a career-high for Marco), while Key-Powell had her own career-high with three blocks.
- Moea'i led the team in blocks (7) and Gibadlo led the team in digs (10).
- Leah Wilton-LaBoy posted a team-high 25 assists.
UP NEXT
The Utes will have all eyes on the Sunday Selection Show on November 30 in hopes of making a 20
th NCAA Tournament appearance.
