Utes in the Pros: Week 14

SALT LAKE CITY – Postseason races are heating up across the NFL and Week 14's matchups are certain to have an impact on the playoff hunt. All across the league, 28 Utah Football alumni are on team rosters with 17 Pro Utes expected to suit up this weekend.

Miles Battle was recently elevated to the New England Patriots' active roster as Mike Vrabel's squad continues to battle for the No. 1 seed in the AFC. With a 10-2 record and the AFC West lead, Denver heads out to Las Vegas in a game that projects to have a trio of Utah alumni across both teams. Baltimore and Jacksonville find themselves in ties atop their respective division and have former Utes on both rosters.

In the NFC, both Philadelphia and Chicago are looking to build on division cushions this weekend. The Eagles recently elevated receiver and return specialist Britain Covey to the club's active roster, while Jaylon Johnson has returned from IR for Chicago. In the NFC West, Connor O'Toole and the Seahawks are 9-3 and share the division lead with the Rams.

Utah continues to be represented in the pro coaching ranks with three alumni on the sidelines. Alex Whittingham is in his eighth season in the Kansas City Chiefs organization and first as assistant defensive line coach, while Brian Johnson is in his second season as the Washington Commanders' assistant head coach and offensive pass game coordinator. In addition, former Utah quarterback Mike McCoy is currently leading the Tennessee Titans as interim head coach.
