- Missed five games his senior season due to injury, finishing with 39 receptions with 683 yards (17.5 ypc) and eight receiving touchdowns.
- 43 catches for 867 yards (20.2 ypc) with eight touchdowns, adding 20 carries for 211 yards (10.6 ypc) and three rushing touchdowns as a junior, also had 12 tackles (4.0 TFL, 2.0 sacks) and a blocked extra point his junior year.
- La Cueva won a state championship in football in 2018.
- Also competed in track and field, earning Albuquerque Journal Track Athlete of the Year in 2019 after qualifying for the state meet in five events, winning the 300-meter hurdles and finishing second in the 100 meter dash.
