Women of Utah to Compete in the 115th Edition of the Drake Relays

The Utah track & field team will send a small contingent to compete at this year’s Drake Relays.
SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah track & field team will send a small contingent of eight competitors to the famed blue oval (Drake Stadium) for the 115th edition of the Drake Relays this week.

If the eight participants Utah will be taking to the 115th edition of the Drake Relays, Lauren Ayers, McKaylie Caesar and Annie Ivins will be making their debut on the famed blue oval.

MARTIN TRAINS WITH TEAM CANADA
While the Utes compete at the Drake Relays this week, junior Emily Martin is busy down in Baton Rouge, La., for a quick training session with Team Canada. The Barrie, Ontario, Canada, product will compete in the 200m dash at the LSU Alumni Gold meet and maybe participant in a relay race with the Canadians.

LAST TIME OUT
The Women of Utah had a solid weekend of competition in Eugene, Ore., this past weekend, posting 13 new PRs and made seven new edits to the record book. Additionally, the Utes also had five runners post regional marks last weekend.

QUALIFYING MARKS
With the regular-season winding down, here's a list of Utes that currently own a qualifying time for the NCAA West Regional (May 29 & 31) as of April 22, 2025.

Will be a busy final week of the regular-season for Utah will a contingent competing at the Robison Invitational (April 30 – May 1) down south while another contingent competes down in Tucson, Ariz., a couple days later at the Deseret Heat Classic (May 3) before the championships season begins.
