UTAH LACROSSE: NEED TO KNOWS
- Utah is in its seventh year as a Division I program, holding an overall record of 51-42.
- Head coach Andrew McMinn is in his fourth season with the Utes and is the all-time wins leader at Utah with a record of 39-22.
- The Utes are in their fourth season in the ASUN conference, coming off four consecutive ASUN regular season titles (2022, 2023, 2024, 2025) and back-to-back ASUN Championships (2023, 2024).
- Junior Nikko DiPonio received 2025 ASUN Defensive Player of the Year.
- Two Utes received ASUN preseason awards, with junior Ryan Stines claiming a unanimous vote for preseason Attack of the Year and senior Cody Hart being named preseason Midfielder of the Year.
- Utah earned the top spot in the preseason ASUN Coaches Poll, the fourth straight year that Utah has been voted the No. 1 preseason ranking in the league.
- Since McMinn's first season in 2022, the Utes have broken over 70 school records in just 47 games.
- Utah finished 24th overall in the NCAA Men's lacrosse rankings for 2024.
LAST TIME OUT
Utah defeated the Bellarmine Knights in an 18-11, after taking charge of the third quarter with a 7-1 run.
- With his seven goals, freshman Luke McNamara earned a career-high of seven points and now sits in second on the all-time single game high roster for his seven scores.
- The Utes held their opponent to just one goal in the third quarter.
- With his seven assists, junior Ryan Stines broke the program record for single season assists (38) and earned the second slot for single game assists (7).
- McNamara now has eight man-up goals under his belt this season.
- Junior Zachary White marked a career-high of five points (two goals, three assists).
- Utah out shot Bellarmine 50-29, the second-largest margin this season.
- The Utes took advantage of five man-up opportunities, but kept their opponent 0-2 in the same statistic.
HELPING HAND
Ryan Stines has accumulated 38 assists this season, ranking first in the ASUN and eighth in the nation for assists per game, averaging 2.38. With his seven assists against Bellarmine in the ASUN tournament, the junior shattered the program record for single season assists topping the Utah record book.
DIPONIO'S DEFENSE
Junior long pole
Nikko DiPonio currently ranks 12
th in the nation for ground balls per game with 6.85. In a sea of face-off players, DiPonio is the only position-player in the top-25 of that statistic. DiPonio has accumulated 93 this season, sitting in third on the Utah all-time single season record book.
ASUN AWARDS
The Utes led the ASUN with 13 All-Conference picks, including junior
Nikko DiPonio being named Defensive Player of the Year. This continues Utah's four-year streak of earning a player of the year award.

Marco Pascarella and Robertson rounded all the all-conference awards for Utah after being named to the ASUN All-Freshman team. Juniors

Zachary White were recognized on the conference Academic team for their success in the classroom and on the field.
MAD HATTERS
Seven Utes have marked down at least one hat trick this season, with two players, both underclassmen, achieving it multiple times.
Sophomore
Cade Faulkner and
Luke McNamara are at the top, leading the Utes with four hat tricks each.
Zachary White has tallied three, while junior
Ryan Stines and freshman
Chase Robertson have accomplished the feat twice. Senior
Cody Hart was the first to score three or more goals and senior
Jonas Hunter and junior
Will Overly have both tallied their career first hat trick this season.
AT THE TOP
Freshman
Luke McNamara is at the top of the Utah scoring roster, finding 31 points in the goal, with sophomore
Cade Faulkner close behind, marking 25 scores this season. With 21 goals and 38 assists,
Ryan Stines has tallied 59 points throughout the season, almost 25 points higher than the second-highest on the team.
