Utes, Mountaineers set for 1:30 p.m. MT kickoff on FOX
SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah football team returns to the road for a Big 12 Conference game at West Virginia with kickoff scheduled for 1:30 p.m. MT on Saturday at Milan Puskar Stadium. The Utes (3-1, 0-1 Big 12) and Mountaineers (2-2, 0-1 Big 12) will meet for the third time in history and first time ever in the regular season.

 THE NUMBERS
• Utah and West Virginia are set to meet for the first time ever in the regular season after the previous two matchups came in bowl games, both Utah wins. The Utes defeated the Mountaineers 32-6 on Dec. 19, 1964, in the Liberty Bowl and 30-14 on Dec. 26, 2017, in the Heart of Dallas Bowl.
• Jackson Bennee is tied for second in the NCAA with three interceptions, just one behind the nation's leader. Bennee has recorded an interception in three straight games.
• John Henry Daley leads the country in sacks, totaling six on the season for 54 yards. Daley also leads the FBS in sacks per game (1.50).
• Ryan Davis is ninth in the NCAA and second in the conference in receptions per game at 7.25.
 UTAH FOOTBALL: NEED TO KNOWS
• Saturday will be just the fourth regular season game played in the eastern time zone for the Utes since 2014. Utah defeated Michigan 26-10 in Ann Arbor on Sept. 20, 2014, played Florida in Gainesville on Sept. 3, 2022 (L, 29-26) and beat UCF 28-14 in Orlando in the regular season finale last year on Nov. 29.
• The Utes' offense ranks seventh in the country and second in the conference in 3rd down conversion percentage, converting on 61 percent of opportunities through the first month of the season. Utah is 17th in the country in first downs offense, totaling 101 first downs in four games.
• Two-way players Lander Barton (LB) and Jackson Bennee (S) have each started twice on offense with Barton starting all four games on defense and Bennee twice on defense.
• Utah's defense is tied for third in the country and tied for the Big 12 lead in passes intercepted (6).
