WESTLAKE VILLAGE, CALIF. — Utah Golf wrapped up day two at the Southwestern Invitational in seventh place after posting an 11-over 291 effort and for a 15-over 575 total through two rounds of play.
Senior
Davis Johnson had the best day for the Utes after an even-par 70 put him at 3-over through the first two rounds,
moving him to a tie for 26th place from 39th the day before.
Junior
Sergio Jimenez tied for 14
th and remained with the best overall score (1-over) after shooting 4-over 74 through day two.
Juniors
Gabriel Palacios and
Jack Jerge rounded out Utah's top four scores through round two with a 3-over 73 and 4-over 74 respectively.
Utah senior
Brandon Robison posted a 5-over 75, while on the individual front, freshman
Ivan Enguita finished the day 6-over 76.

UP NEXT
The Utes return to action for the final day of the Southwestern Invitational on Wednesday, Jan. 28 where they will look to close out strong after facing adversity in round two.
LOOKING AHEAD
After the Southwestern, Utah heads to Honolulu, Hawaii, to take part in the John Burns Intercollegiate, Feb. 12–14. The Utes will have to find another time to relax on the beach as the team aims to defend its 2025 victory at the event. Meanwhile, Palacios looks to defend his individual crown after shooting 15-under 198 in the 2025 edition of the John Burns.
