2024 – Junior
- Played in 26 games with 12 starts, mainly at third base and DH.
- Slashed .267 / .362 / .383 with two doubles, a triple, one home run, 12 RBI, nine walks and 12 runs scored.
- Homered and scored twice against CSUN (April 5) as part of a 4-for-4 day with six RBI.
- Went 2-for-4 in the rubber game win at ASU (April 14), contributing a double while scoring and driving in one run.
- Delivered a two-run triple and scored a key run in the win vs. Utah Valley (April 1).
2023 - Sophomore
- Started 51 games, splitting time between second base, third base and DH.
- Hit .243 with six doubles, a homer, 27 RBI, 19 walks and 30 runs scored.
- Tied for second on the team with 16 multi-hit games and also had seven multi-RBI efforts.
- Contributed three-different three-hit games, capped off in the series-opening win at No. 15 Oregon State (May 5).
- Career-best five RBI came in the win over Incarnate Word (Feb. 25).
- Went 3-for-6 with two RBI and three runs scored in the game at No. 23 UCLA (April 8).
2022 – Freshman
- Pac-12 All-Conference Honorable Mention
- Started at second base in 52 of 54 games – all but the first two contests of the season.
- Led the team both in batting average (.330) and hits (69), finishing the regular season second among Pac-12 freshmen in both categories.
- Logged 10 doubles, three home runs, and 33 RBI.
- Ranked as the third-toughest player to strike out in the Pac-12 Conference (No. 1 freshman) and fifth-toughest rookie in the country.
- Recorded 18 multi-hit games, most on the team.
- Went 5-for-7 with three RBI and four runs scored in the middle game vs. Mercer (March 26), the first freshman Ute with a five-hit game since 2017.
- Homered in his first collegiate at bat during the game at Loyola Marymount (Feb. 20).
Prior to Utah
- Attended Snow Canyon High School and played for head coach Reed Secrist.
- Perfect Game Preseason All-West Region Honorable Mention (2020, ’21)
- Part of the 2021 squad that won the Utah 4A State Championship.
- Also played football in high school.

- Son of Gavin and Lainee Frei.
- Has three siblings, Addie, Carlee and Preston.
