UTAH: Three-year starting snapper had the rare role as both the long and short snapper ... extremely reliable and accurate ... one-time walk-on earned a scholarship.
2008-Played in all 13 games ... snapped for every punt, field goal attempt and PAT (141 total snaps) ... also had two tackles on special teams, including one against Alabama in the Sugar Bowl ... Academic all-MWC.
2007-Played in all 13 games ... special teams starter handled every one of Utah's long and short snaps (135 total) ... also had six tackles on special teams ... Academic all-MWC ... made Utah's Athletics Academic Honor Roll.
2006-Starting snapper in all 13 games ... began the season as the long snapper for punts, and added short snapping duties (field goal/PAT) in the final four games ... did not make a bad snap all season (59 long snaps/20 short snaps) ... made Dean's List and Athletics Academic Honor Roll.
PRIOR TO UTAH: Played for Dixie State College ... Dixie played in the NJCAA National Championship and the 2003 Dixie Rotary Bowl ... lettered four times in football and baseball at Lone Peak High (Utah) ... named second team all-state in 2002 ... team captain ... helped Lone Peak to 2002 regional title and state championship berth ... honor roll student
