UTAH: Versatile enough to play both the middle and rover linebacker positions ... should be full strength by the start of camp in August (had knee surgery in December) ... signed with Utah in 2000 and then left for an LDS church mission ... began his career as a receiver and tight end before moving over to the defense.
2006-Played in 10 games before suffering a season-ending knee injury against Colorado State with three games remaining ... had surgery on Dec. 7 ... important contributor on special teams also got regular playing time as a backup linebacker ... 15 total tackles and a pass breakup ... 3 tackles against UCLA, Wyoming and Colorado State.
2005-Played in 9 games, mostly on special teams ... 3 tackles included 2 stops against Utah State and 1 tackle against Wyoming.
