Upcoming Event: Soccer versus Utah Tech on September 11, 2025 at 7 p.m.

Tutorial assistance is available to all student-athletes as requested by AAA and/or LS, as approved and scheduled by the Tutor Coordinator(s) via the Teamworks platform. Student-athletes are assigned qualified/trained tutors (undergraduate and graduate students) who have completed and demonstrated proficiency in related course material. Tutoring is an effective means for student-athletes to improve overall understanding of course material, to develop strong study skills/habits, and to ultimately reach identified academic goals. Tutor sessions are intended to assist student-athletes in the acquisition and understanding of course material. Tutors are NOT intended to teach or re-teach course material. Tutors will clarify and elaborate on material covered in course readings and lectures but this should not be considered a substitute for attending class and receiving instruction from the instructor. Student-athletes need to attend tutorial sessions prepared and with all the necessary course materials, syllabi, textbooks, lecture notes, and any other relevant information. Prior to attending tutor sessions, student-athletes should review the assigned readings and material covered in class in order to be active participants.
Because of managing and navigating tutorial support virtually and via the Zoom platform during the COVID pandemic, all/some of ongoing tutor sessions will continue to be offered via Zoom rather than face-to-face.
