LOS ANGELES – Utah finished with 13 runs on 13 hits, using the late offensive surge to turn a tight contest into a decisive road victory.

Cameron Gurney with an RBI groundout. In the fifth,
Jake Long delivered an RBI single to score
Nevan Noonan and trim the deficit to 4-2.
The game flipped in the eighth.
Utah sent 14 batters to the plate and broke through for 11 runs in the frame. The rally included RBI walks from
Luke Jacobs and Noonan, an RBI hit-by-pitch from Gurney and a two-run single from Arambula. ——— Miller added an RBI single,
Matt Flaharty drove in a run with a base hit and sacrifice flies from
Jet Gilliam and Jacobs capped the explosive inning.
Arambula led the way offensively, going 3-for-6 with three RBIs. Miller also collected three hits, while Gurney scored twice and drove in a run. Jacobs and Long each added two RBIs.
On the mound,
Dillon Fine (2-0) earned the win in relief, throwing 3.1 shutout innings while allowing just one hit and striking out four.
Cameron Nielson added a scoreless inning, and Seth Graham-Pipp closed the door with a clean ninth. Utah's bullpen combined to hold LMU scoreless over the final 5.1 innings to secure the win.
