Meredith Price MS, RD, CSSD, Director of Sports Nutrition

Meredith came to Utah Athletics in June of 2021 as the Executive Director of Sports Nutrition, where she oversees the nutrition department and works primarily with men's basketball, gymnastics, ski, and baseball. Prior, she was the Associate Director of Performance Nutrition at the University of Washington from 2016-2021. She spent time with the US Olympic and Paralympic Committee in Colorado Springs, CO working with the Acrobat and Combat Sport Teams under the supervision of the Senior Sports Dietitian, and finished her time there supporting Olympians at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games. Meredith received her Masters Degree in Sport Nutrition from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs, and her undergraduate degree in dietetics from the University of Georgia. Her most fun educational experience was "graduating" from Avocado University in early 2020. Meredith is originally from Baltimore, MD and is a passionate Ravens and Orioles fan! She trains and competes in Olympic Weightlifting, loves skiing , backpacking, & mountain biking, and can whip up a tasty meal from anything you put in front of her. Lisa Everhart (Swearingen) MS, RD, CSSDÂ Director of Football Nutrition

Lisa Everhart returned to Utah Athletics in 2019 to be the Director of Football Sports Nutrition. Previously, she spend a year at South Carolina as a Performance Dietitian (2018- 2019) and a year as a Nutrition Fellow with Utah Athletics (2017- 2018). Lisa completed her undergraduate in Nutrition at the University of Tennessee and her Masters Coordinated Dietetic Internship up the road at East Tennessee State University. Lisa resides in Utah with her husband Andrew and two dogs (Roo & Ryleigh). Maria Di Iorio, RD, CSSDÂ Assistant Director of Sports Nutrition

Maria joined Utah Athletics in 2019 as a Sports Nutrition Fellow and in the Winter of 2020 moved into the Assistant Director of Sports Nutrition role. After completing her undergraduate work at Oregon State and Dietetic Internship at Idaho State, Maria worked for the Minnesota Twins Player's Development Academy in Fort Myers, Florida for the Spring Training Seasons of 2018 and 2019 and also worked as a clinical inpatient dietitian at one of the local hospitals from 2018-2019.
