- Academic All-Big 12 Rookie Team
- Six appearances in his first season at Utah, pitching a total of 5.2 innings with three strikeouts.
- First collegiate outing was two innings at UC Riverside (March 1).
- Struck out a pair in the middle game at Kansas State (March 15) as he pitching 1.2 innings.
Prior to Utah
- Graduated from Elk River High School, playing for head coach Josh Juntunen.
- Named a captain in three seasons, and was named All-Conference and All-State all four years.
- Two-way player hit .356 in his career with a .456 OBP.
- Pitched to a 1.76 ERA over 146.2 innings.
- Also played high school hockey.
Personal
- Parents are Jason and Heather.
- Has two siblings, Owen and Zac.
- Father played baseball at North Hennepin Community College in Minnesota.
- Enjoys playing golf, pickup basketball and pickleball.
- Aspires to pursue physical therapy as a career one day.
