“I chose the University of Utah for the opportunity to play my final season at the Division I level. Salt Lake City is a new journey for me. I was also intrigued by Utah’s Information Systems program.”
- Gave the Utes 18 appearances as a consistent southpaw option in the bullpen, tallying 25.2 innings on the bump.
- Finished with a 3-1 record, two saves and a 4.56 ERA to go with 22 strikeouts.
- Longest outing was a 5.2-inning appearance as he earned the win at Utah Valley (April 22), striking out six and allowing just one hit and one walk.
- Closed out victories at Arizona (May 9) and in the middle game vs. TCU (May 16).
- Was the winner in his Utah debut, tossing two scoreless innings at Pepperdine (Feb. 17).
- Also earned a victory on the road over UC Riverside (March 2) with another two-inning showing.
Prior to Utah
- Spent the 2021-24 seasons at Whitman College in Washington as a left-handed pitcher and outfielder.
- Earned All-Northwest Conference Second Team in 2023 and ’24.
- Was a .277 career hitter with the Blues, playing in 123 games with 110 starts. Conaway hit 11 doubles, seven triples, two homers and had 46 RBI.
- On the mound, went 13-13 in 40 appearances (32 starts) and 183.1 innings with three complete games, two shutouts and a save.
- Had a solid pitching season in 2023, going 6-1 with a 2.80 ERA and just a .205 batting average against. He struck out 65 batters in 54.2 innings.

- Attended Alhambra High School, where the team’s 2020 MVP played for coach Steve Elliot.
