2026: D1Softball Freshmam All-American Second-Team...NFCA All-Mountain Region Third-Team...All-Big 12 Second-Team...won a Big 12 Freshman of the Week award on Feb. 17...was a finalist for the NFCA National Freshman of the Year Award...one of only two Utes to start all 56 games...reached base safely in her first 33 games, setting a new program record for consecutive games reaching base...streak was also the longest by any freshman in the nation to start a career in 2026...crafted a .490 on-base percentage, putting her eighth in the Big 12...cobbled together a .383 average, .490 on-base percentage, collected 64 hits and drove in 42 runs, leading the team in each statistic...her 13 doubles tied for Utah's highest total...placed second on the squad in RBIs with 41, in total bases with 110 and slugging percentage at .659...doubled twice and totaled three RBIs on Feb. 8 at Long Beach State...blasted her first collegiate homer on Feb. 13 at Santa Clara...homered twice and knocked in four runs on Feb. 26 vs. Weber State...homered in back-to-back games and drove in five runs on March 7 and 8 at No. 21 Arizona State...homered, knocked in three and scored twice on April 15 vs. Montana.
Prior to Utah: Left Agoura High School as the program's all-time leader in homers and RBIs...as a senior, broke the school's single-season home run record with 18...named league player of the year by the LA Daily News...helped her squad capture a share of the Marmonte League title...spent her first three seasons of high school softball rattling off one accomplishment after another, starting with garnering a second-team all-league spot and her school's offensive player of the year award as a freshman...one year later, she moved up to first-team all-league status while repeating as offensive player of the year...took home another offensive player of the year honor as a junior...chosen as the All-Marmonte League MVP as a junior...in club ball, started in 2017 with Synergy Fast Pitch...also refined her craft with Velocity, Firecrackers Redmond, Firecrackers Rico and Firecrackers Select Rico Brashear.
Personal: Daughter of Cesar Gomez and Andrea Reed...has two siblings, Alejandro and Julian...plans on studying Communications at Utah.
