"It just felt really good to get the win," said Ute head coach Beth Launiere. "It was the first time in about three weeks where we were able to get some easy points. We finally faced a team that made some errors to help us out a little bit. Graciela (Torres) did a great job of carrying out the game plan once again by setting up our middle blockers. Both Stacie Greenwalt and McKelle Stilson had huge matches for us."
Utah makes its first WAC road trip of the season next weekend, playing at San Jose State and Fresno State on Friday and Saturday.
