SALT LAKE CITY - The University of Utah women's volleyball program added Adrianne Bradley, a 6-2, sophomore to its roster. The University of Hawaii officially released Bradley, and Utah head coach Beth Launiere is extremely pleased with the outcome.
Bradley has been an outside-hitter most of her career. Adrienne played in 24 matches and 32 games at Hawaii last season. She hit .366 and averaged 1.13 kills per game.
She trained mostly in the middle at Hawaii, but Launiere will probably move her back to the left or right side. "Obviously she comes with very good credentials, she's 6-2 and she'll be a big physical presence on the court," says Launiere of Bradley.
Bradley is a 1998 graduate of Emery High School in Castle Dale, Utah. She was a four-year letterwinner in volleyball and basketball. She garnered one letter each in track and softball. Adrienne was named the 3A state MVP in both her junior and senior seasons in volleyball, and received first-team all-state honors in basketball during her junior and senior campaigns.
