Women's Soccer Plays Host To South Africa National Team

SALT LAKE CITY - The Utah women's soccer team hosts the South Africa national women's team in a single game Sat., April 29 at 4:30 p.m. The game will be played at Ute Field and is open to the public.
The South African national team played in two African qualifying tournaments for the Women's World Cup-the first for the World Cup in Sweden, where they fell to Nigeria, the only African team represented that year. In their last performance, South Africa was defeated by the Netherlands 2-0.
