THIS WEEK:
No. 24 Utah (21-7, 10-4) travels to Fort Collins, Colo., this Thursday-Saturday, Nov. 21-23, to participate in the Mountain West Conference Tournament at Colorado State. The No. 3 seed in the tournament, the Utes will face Wyoming at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. If the Utes win that match, they will face the winner of the San Diego State/New Mexico match at 4 p.m. on Friday. The championship match is at 2 p.m. on Saturday.
REVIEWING LAST WEEK:
Last Friday, Colorado State defeated the Utes 3-1 (24-30, 30-25, 25-30, 23-30), snapping Utah's 29-match home winning streak and ending the Utes' chances of a regular-season conference championship. Ironically, it was the Rams that had last beat Utah at home, sweeping the Utes in the 2000 season. Utah rebounded on Saturday, defeating Wyoming 3-1 (30-16, 27-30, 30-19, 30-26).
