PALO ALTO, Calif. - Select athletes from the University of Utah Outdoor track & field team competed at the Stanford Invitational Distance Carnival on Fri., Mar. 29. The meet featured high school, college and professional athletes from around the country. Senior Erianne Allen and junior Kristy Slade represented the University of Utah by competing in the heptatholon. Allen placed seventh (4828 points) and Slade placed 11th (4145 points). Outdoor track & field will look to build on these strong performances next week competing at the BYU Invitational on Apr. 6, in Provo, Utah.
