Indoor Track and Field Teams Open Up 2003 Season

THIS WEEK: The University of Utah Indoor Track and Field team will open its 2003 season this week. The Utes will head to Ogden, Utah to compete at Weber State. Throwing events for this meet will begin on Thursday, Jan. 9th, and all running and other field events will be held on Saturday, Jan. 11th.
QUOTING HEAD COACH LISA ARCHER: "We're really excited about kicking off the 2003 season at Weber State," states Archer. "We are excited to see how our returning and new athletes will perform. The first meet will give us an idea of where we are at as a team "
NEXT MEET: Next on the schedule for Utah is the Snake River Invitational on Saturday, Jan. 18, in Pocatello Idaho.
