University of Utah runner Delfino Arevalo earned Indoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week honors for his performance at the Mountain State Games in Pocatello, Idaho, last week. Arevalo placed first in the 5,000 meters and the 3,000 meters and recorded personal record times of 14:25.92 and 8:30.92. The junior distance runner has proved to be one of Utah's most productive athletes this year. He placed first in the 5,000 meters at the Olympic Oval Invitational with an impressive time of 14:44.34. Arevalo currently ranks No. 1 in the Mountain West Conference in the 5,000 meters and third in the 3,000.
