SALT LAKE CITY - Fans attending Utah soccer games this fall will need to access the seating areas from the southeast corner of Ute Field during construction of the new spectator services facility and pedestrian walkway.
A designated walkway, allowing fans to enter the grandstand and lawn seating areas, will be fenced off and marked along the east side of the south stands. The concessions stand will remain in the southeast corner of the field until the new building is completed.
Parking will continue to be available in the lot south of Ute Field, although the row closest to the complex has been annexed as part of the new pedestrian walkway. Once the new University Medical Center TRAX line is completed in late September, fans will be able to be dropped off and picked-up at the station immediately east of Ute Field. The new TRAX line will connect to the existing lines that run downtown and to the southern end of the Salt Lake Valley.
