Feigt and Mason Make Soccer Buzz Freshman All-America Team

SALT LAKE CITY - Forward Amanda Feigt and goalkeeper Ashley Mason have been named to the Soccer Buzz Magazine Freshman All-America second team. The rookies helped lead the Utes to a No. 22 national ranking by Soccer Buzz, the Mountain West Conference regular season and postseason championships, and a 16-2-2 overall record.

Feigt, a native of from Sandy, Utah, had a team-high eight assists and scored five goals. She was also named the Mountain West Freshman of the Year. Mason ranked first in the NCAA in goals allowed (0.30 per game). The Sunnyvale, Calif., native made 58 saves in 16 games.
