SALT LAKE CITY - University of Utah Head Coach Rich Manning and Assistant Coach Gabriel Bolton, co-directors of the Utah Women's Soccer Academy, today released the 2004 summer camp schedule.
This year, there will be two sessions of three different camps held throughout the months of June, July and August. Two sessions of the Girls' Residential/Commuter Academy and the Girls' Goalkeeper Residential/Commuter Academy take place in July. The dates for both camps are July 5-9 (ages 14-18) and July 12-16 (ages 10-13).
The Girls' Day Academy for ages 10-13 will have two sessions, taking place June 14-18 and August 2-6. The day camps will run from 9:00 a.m.-Noon.
Each Academy is conducted by the University of Utah coaching staff, current and former Ute players, as well as other collegiate, club, and high school coaches. Those attending a residential academy will once again be staying in the residence halls used as the Athletes' Village during the 2002 Winter Olympics.
