THIS WEEK:
The Utah track and field teams travel to Nampa, Idaho, this weekend for the Holiday Inn Team Invitational. Boise State will host the event at the Idaho Sports Center on Saturday, Feb. 14.
QUOTING HEAD COACH Lisa Archer:
"We're excited to go back to the Idaho Sports Center and compete. It's a great facility, which helps draw a lot of nationally ranked schools. This provides for great competition and top athletes to push our best athletes even harder.
"We are into the season 100 percent and really pushing towards conference. We should start to see some very good times and marks.
"Last weekend Nellie (Hammons) was very impressive in her two wins, which included the school record performance. Amanda (Feigt) set a new personal record by ? of an inch and Tracy (Hamblin) was equally as good as she attempted to set a qualifying mark."
