BUCKEYE, Ariz. - The Utah men's golf team completed competition at the Steve Kerr Invitational on Saturday. Utah jumped from eighth after round two, up to sixth to finish the tournament. The Utes shot a team score of 35-over-par, 887 (299-297-291). Garrett Clegg and Casey Fowles each shot a final round 73, leaving them tied for 16th individually at 8-over-par, 221. Clegg finished the tournament with rounds of 75-73-73 and Fowles put up scores of 74-74-73.

Ashdon Woods shot a team best round of 70 on Saturday to place him in a tie for 26th. Woods finished with a score of 11-over-par, 224 (79-75-70), tying him with teammate Carl Jensen. Jensen finished with rounds of 73-76-75. Rounding out the scoring for Utah, Luke Swilor finished at 14-over-par, 227 (77-75-75), placing 41st.

Colorado State held off UTEP in the final round to win by one-stroke, finishing 21-over-par. The individual winner was Barrett Jarosch of Denver, shooting eight-under-par.

Next up for Utah is the Bite/Pacific Coast Intercollegiate, beginning April 5.
