Women's Soccer MWC Scholar-Athlete Recipients Announced

SALT LAKE CITY - Six members of the University of Utah women's soccer team have been named 2004-05 Mountain West Conference Scholar-Athlete Award winners.

To be eligible for selection student-athletes must have completed at least two semesters or three quarters at the certifying institution while maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or better, and have completed in at least one varsity contest in their respective sport.

Utes making the team were Emily Boshard of Provo, Utah (Fr., 3.57 GPA, Pre-Nursing), Emily Campbell of Hyde Park, Utah (Fr., 3.77 GPA, Undeclared), Kiley Jones of San Clemente, Calif. (Fr., 3.82 GPA, Undeclared), Hailey Marsh of Centennial, Colo. (So., 3.53 GPA, Communication), Ashley Mason of Sunnyvale, Calif. (So., 3.77 GPA, Exercise and Sport Science), and Melissa Wayman of West Valley City, Utah (So., 3.64 GPA, Pre-Medicine).
