On winning the game: "I was very proud of our effort. I thought that we played very well in the first half, and we were unlucky to not get a goal and be rewarded for our efforts. Once again, Adele (Letro), scored the opening goal of the game. She's been scoring timely goals all throughout the conference season for us."
"I give credit to San Diego State because they came back with tremendous energy after we scored our first goal. They really pressured us. But we withstood it and I was pleased to see that we came back and got our second goal. This team has demonstrated excellent character all season. As we have throughout this stretch of wins, we got timely goals, timely defense and timely saves by Ashley (Mason)."
On winning the MWC title: "The conference is as strong as it's been in the last five years since I've been here, and we're ecstatic to call ourselves champions of the Mountain West Conference. It speaks to the character and work ethic of the women on the team more than anything else. I know they are extremely proud of that achievement."
