Utah (14-4-0, 7-0-0), ranked No. 10 in the NSCAA/adidas Top 25 poll, hosts the Mountain West Conference Championship at Ute Field. The Utes, who earned the No. 1 seed by virtue of winning the regular-season title, receive a bye in the quarterfinals. Utah will play the winner of No. 4 New Mexico and No. 5 San Diego State in the semifinals on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. (MST). The championship game is Saturday at Noon (MST).

Utah Update
The Utes are 14-4-0 overall and won the Mountain West Conference regular-season title with a 7-0-0 record. They have won 10 games in a row with the last nine victories coming via shutout. Utah's current winning streak is the longest in school history, toping a run of six wins set during the 2003 season. Utah won its only game last week, defeating Wyoming 2-0 on Friday night at Ute Field.
Adele Letro (F, 5-8, So.) leads the Utes in points (23) with a team-high 10 goals and three assists. Amanda Feigt (F, 5-11, Sr.) is second in points (18) with a team-best six assists and six goals. Hailey Marsh (F, 5-8, Sr.) is third in points (9) with three goals and three assists. Goalkeeper Ashley Mason (5-9, Sr.) has a 0.78 goals against average with 58 saves and 13 goals allowed. She also has 6.3 shutouts.
Utah has more shots (248-173) and more goals (31-13) than its opponents this season, but has a deficit of 64-60 in corner kicks. The Utes have a 0.72 goals against average while their opponents have a 1.71 mark.

? The Utes moved up one spot to No. 10 in the NSCAA/adidas Top 25 poll this week. This is the highest ranking Utah has ever had in the NSCAA poll. Utah is ranked for the sixth consecutive week and the eighth time in the last nine weeks. The Utes remained fourth in the NSCAA West Region rankings.
? Utah moved up one spot to No. 10 in the Soccer America poll. The Utes are in the poll for the fifth consecutive week.
? The Utes moved up two spots to No. 13 in the Soccer Buzz Top 30 poll, and are ranked for the fourth-consecutive week. Utah is ranked fourth in the West Region rankings.
? Utah moved up two spots to No. 12 is in the Soccer Times Top 25 rankings, and is in the poll for the fourth consecutive week.
Utes Are Mountain West Champions Once Again
Utah is the 2006 Mountain West Conference regular season champion, finishing with a 7-0-0 record in league play to set the school record for most conference wins. The Utes also didn't allow a goal in conference play for the first time in school and MWC history.
Utah won the Mountain West Conference championship for the second consecutive year and the third time in the last four years. The Utes claimed the 2005 Mountain West Conference regular season title with a 6-0-1 record. Utah's first MWC title came in 2003 (6-0-0).
The Utes have won five of the last seven conference regular season and tournament titles combined. The Utes won the MWC Tournament in 2003 and `04.
Since Rich Manning took over as Utah's head coach in 2002, the Utes have the best winning percentage in Mountain West Conference games. Utah has an .859 winning percentage (26-3-3) during that span.
Coming Up
The 64-team field for the 2006 NCAA Championship will be announced on Monday, Nov. 6. at 1:00 p.m. (MST). First and second round games will take place the weekend of Nov. 10-12 at on-campus sites.
