Utah And UVSC Soccer To Scrimmage August 15

SALT LAKE CITY - Utah will host a women's soccer pre-season scrimmage against Utah Valley State on Tuesday, Aug. 15 at 7:30 p.m. at Ute Field.
Admission to the match will be free. Attendees of the 2006 Utah Women's Soccer Academy and fans alike are invited are to join the Utes for this event, which will serve as a camp reunion and pre-season party.
Utah returns nine starters from a team that won the Mountain West Conference championship and advanced to the NCAA Tournament in 2005. The Utes open their 2006 regular-season home schedule with the Utah Fall Classic, Sept. 1 and 3 at Ute Field. Games the first night feature Utah State against Arizona at 5:00 p.m., followed by Utah vs. Washington State at 7:30 p.m.
