Utah Head Coach Rich Manning:
"We got a good test with that goal Washington State scored to see if we could bounce back, and we did well. This is why we play a tough schedule. It's for a test like this tonight."
"It took us too long to attack the goal, and it took us 30 minutes or so to match the effort Washington State was putting out. Everything was happening in spurts, which was a good thing for us. We showed good character, coming back and creating good chances."
"Hailey Marsh earned her minutes tonight. She made very good decisions."
"We showed good character taking a body blow at the end of the game and coming back to get the win."
Utah Forward Adele Letro:
"On the last goal, (Amanda) Feigt beat the girl on the right side and the ball deflected right in front for an open shot. Feigt was beating the right side all night."
"We still have a lot of work to do. We've got a feel for what we need to work on and how to fix our problems for upcoming games."
Utah Forward Amanda Feigt:
"Adele was telling me the far post was open all night long so I went for it. We're going to take it one game at a time and get ready for the NCAA's, but we still have a lot of work to do."
