THIS WEEK The University of Utah will participate in the Multiple Duals hosted by Idaho State University in Pocatello, Idaho. It will be a non-scored event.
LAST WEEK The Utes did very well last week at the Wisconsin Elite Meet in Madison, Wis. and the Bronco Indoor Invitational held in Nampa, Idaho. Freshman Whitney Wellington broke a school record in the 60-meter dash with a second-place finish at the Wisconsin Elite Meet and a time of 7.78 sec.
UTE NOTES Senior Amanda Feigt had a provisional-qualifying mark in the women's pentathlon at the Elite Meet with 3,780 points...that was 100 points off of the school record... Chelsea Shapard (Fr., Park City, Utah) placed second in the 400-meter dash (56.77) and holds the third fastest time in school history in that event... in the horizontal jumps sophomore Haley McAllister won the long jump jumping 18-5.25 being one of the two invitational event winners the other one was Becky Riddle in the weight throw with an all-time top-10 toss of 58-3.25. In the triple jump Ashley Patterson and Mandie Rowell PR'd with all-time top 10 marks jumping of 38-2.75 and 36-11.75, respectively... Mandie jumped hers at the Bronco Invitational in Nampa, Idaho...This season the track team members have broken 45 personal records, have performed 15 all-time top-10 marks, have broken two school records and have one NCAA Provisional Qualifier.

NEXT WEEK The Utes will be divided and competing in three meets on Feb. 9-10; Iowa State Classic in Ames, Iowa, Mountain State Games in Pocatello, Idaho, and Husky Invitational in Seattle, Wash.
