SALT LAKE CITY - The University of Utah soccer team saw eight of its members honored by the Mountain West Conference today, being named to the MWC Scholar Athlete team.
Representing Utah are Katie Battazzo, Kiley Jones, Hailey Marsh, Ashley Mason, Katy Reineke, Jena Roberts, Danielle Sample and Melissa Wayman.
To be eligible for selection student-athletes must have completed at least two academic terms at the member institution, while maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or better, and have participated in varsity competition for their athletic team.
