The University of Utah women's soccer team begins a four-game homestand this week.
The Utes are 1-2-1 after falling to Colorado 4-2 and playing to a 3-3 tie against Washington State last week.
Utah will host Idaho State in the home opener Friday night, with kickoff set for 7:30 p.m. at Ute Field. The Utes will then welcome Oregon to Salt Lake City at 1 p.m. Sunday.
Utah faced Idaho State twice last season, defeating the Bengals 3-1 in Pocatello during the regular season and taking a 3-2, double-overtime win in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. The Utes last meeting with Oregon was a 2-0 Utah victory back in 2004.

After four games, Utah is the second-highest scoring team in the Mountain West Conference. However, the Utes are also ranked last in the conference in goals allowed through the first four contests.
Utah is averaging 1.75 goals per game, second only to New Mexico's average of 2.0. The Utes are allowing an average of 2.25 goals per contest.
Scouting Idaho State
Idaho State (2-1-1) went winless through its first two games of the season, falling to Arizona State and recording a tie against Cal State Fullerton. The Bengals responded to defeat Boise State 5-2 and Idaho 2-0 last week.
Idaho State is led by second-year head coach Allison Gibson, who holds a 12-10-2 overall record as the Bengals' head coach.

Utah has never lost to Idaho State, holding a 5-0-2 advantage in the all-time series. The Utes are 3-0-1 at home against the Bengals.
Scouting Oregon
Oregon (3-1-0) opened the season with three consecutive victories. The Ducks took a 1-0 win at Nevada, topped Boise State 3-0 and routed UC Riverside 5-1. Oregon then dropped a 1-0 decision to Montana in Eugene on Sunday.
The Ducks will play at Utah State Friday, before visiting Ute Field.
Oregon is led by Tara Erickson, who is in her third season on the Ducks' bench. She has a 24-16-3 record at Oregon and is 53-54-13 overall as a head coach. Sophomore Danielle Sweeney is the top offensive threat for Oregon with three goals and an assist. Junior Jessie Chatfield has a 0.50 goals against average.
