PALO ALTO, CALIF. - Lauren Endersen and Lucy Yates of the University of Utah track and field team wrapped up competition on Saturday at the Stanford Invitational. Endersen placed in the top ten in the 10,000-meter run and Yates took eighth in her heat in the 800-meter run (29th overall).
Endersen competed late on Friday night in the 10,000-meter run for a ninth-place finish with a time of 35:40.06, a new lifetime best by 18 seconds.
Yates competed in the third of five heats in the 800-meter run on Saturday afternoon to place eighth with a time of 2:13.12. Her time placed 29th out of 48 total competitors.
