SALT LAKE CITY - The University of Utah track and field team has been plagued with poor weather conditions in several of their meets since the opening of the outdoor season, and the weather is continuing to look messy for this weekend's track meets.
The Utes will be competing at the Arkasas Twilight in Fayetteville, Ark., and the Eccles Coliseum Spring Collegiate Meet in Cedar City, Utah. Fayetteville is currently forecasted to have 10-straight days of rain, while Cedar City is projected to have rainstorms beginning on Saturday during the scheduled meet.
There will be a limited number of track athletes attending the Arkansas Twilight, including Chelsea Shapard and Chelsey Kaplar in the 400-meter hurdles.
The rest of the team will travel South for the Eccles Coliseum Spring Collegiate Meet.
The schedules of each meet are attached in PDF format.
