SALT LAKE CITY - Utah volleyball season tickets for 2009 are on sale now online and by phone at 801-581-UTIX.
The Utes begin their 14-match 2009 home slate by hosting the 2009 Utah Classic (Aug. 28-29), which includes matches against Arizona State, Cincinnati and UC-Riverside. Utah then hosts Cal Poly (Sept. 1) and Oregon (Sept. 15) to wrap up its non-conference home schedule. The conference schedule at Crimson Court is highlighted by Utah Volleyball's 35th Anniversary and Alumni weekend as the Utes host rival BYU in the Deseret First Duel (Sept. 25). The Utes host perennial conference title-contender Colorado State on Nov. 12.
Season ticket prices begin at $10 for youth and $40 for adults. Spiker Club membership is available for $100. For more information on the Spiker Club, please contact Jill Gillman at (801) 581-8228.
The Utes posted a 26-6 overall record in 2008 en route to their third Mountain West Conference championship and an NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 appearance. Head coach Beth Launiere is entering her 20th season as Utah's head coach with a 391-212 (.648) record at the school.
