Karolina Closes In On 1,000 Career Kills: Karolina Bartkowiak (Aurora, Ill.) now has 949 career kills and is only 51 shy of becoming the 12th member of Utah's 1,000-kill club. Bartkowiak is second on the team this season with 2.65 kills per set and ranks third on the team with 0.72 blocks and is fourth with 2.10 digs per set.
Neeley Passes 2,500 Career Assists: Utah senior setter Stephanie Neeley (Saugus, Calif.) dished out 90 assists in a pair of matches last weekend at No. 23 San Diego and San Diego State, including 46 against the Toreros and 44 against the Aztecs. Neeley currently ranks fifth in school history with 2,529 career helpers, which is 826 assists behind Katie Taggie (1993-95) for fourth place.
Fisher Continues New Dig Streak: After having a 15-match double-digit-dig streak snapped against No. 18 Colorado State, libero Keisha Fisher (Ririe, Idaho) has popped up at least 10 digs in Utah's last three matches, including a season-high-tying 27 in four sets against No. 23 San Diego. Fisher owns the top two four-set outputs for digs in the MWC this season as she also had 27 digs against Morehead State on Sept. 3. Fisher has 1,379 career digs, which is 197 shy of the school record, with 14 matches left on the regular-season schedule. Fisher needs to average 14.1 digs per match to tie the school record.
