FAYETTEVILLE, ARK. - A limited group of Utah track and field athletes competed on Friday at the Arkansas Twilight. True freshman Angela Kaplar finished in the top three competitors in the 100m hurdles.
In the 100m hurdles, Kaplar finished third overall with a time of 14.06 behind Jenna Caffrey of Iowa State (13.97) and Brittany Hyter of Arkansas (13.60). She also cometed in the 200m dash with teammate Whitney Wellington. Wellington finished the race in 25.17 for 15th place overall and Kaplar finished in 26.06 for 24th place overall.
True freshmen Lauryn McKay and Ashley Mosley competed in the 400m dash for 14th and 18th place, respectively. McKay finished in 56.93 and Mosley had a time of 57.64.
