Utah Soccer Closes Spring Season With 3-0 Shutout

SALT LAKE CITY - The University of Utah soccer team closed out its spring exhibition season with a 3-0 shutout win against State, on the back of an Erin Dalley hat trick. The Utes finished the spring season with a 3-3-1 record.
Dalley, a sophomore forward, finished the spring campaign with four goals, including two game-winners, and a game-winning assist. She the Utes with nine points.
In goal, sophomore Hannah Turpen recorded her fourth shutout of the spring.
Utah kicks off the 2010 regular season on Aug. 20 at the Cougar Classic in Pullman, Wash., against Gonzaga on a neutral field. The Utes' first home game will be Friday, Sept. 3, against LMU at Ute Field. Kickoff is slated for 7:30 p.m. MT.
