SALT LAKE CITY - Utah head volleyball coach Beth Launiere has announced the addition of Nikki Sim to the incoming fall class.
"Nikki has been coming to our camps since she started playing volleyball," Launiere said. "We know her well and are excited to have her be a part of our team. She is a competitor with great all-around skills and athleticism. She will make us better in many ways."
A 2010 graduate of Juan Diego High School, Sim was a three-time team MVP and was voted the team's best offensive, defensive and all-around player. She was a member of the varsity team for four years and a three-time letterwinner, averaging 2.75 digs per set for her career and 2.68 digs per set in 2009.
Sim has also been a member of the High Country, Club Utah and Utah Thunder teams and earned MVP honors.
Sim was an honor roll student all four years at Juan Diego and received awards in the `Best in Western Civilization' and `Best in British Literature' classes.
