COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The University of Utah placed 42 student-athletes on the Mountain West Conference 2010 All-Academic team for the fall semester, including 10 volleyball players.
Utah's entire senior class, Karolina Bartkowiak, Keisha Fisher, Stephanie Neeley, were selected to the team along with junior Danielle Killpack. Four Ute freshmen, Charlee Dyroff, Morgan Odale, Erin Redd and Nikki Sim, were recognized as well as sophomores Brooke McAlister and McKenzie Odale.
A total of 386 student-athletes were named to the Fall 2010 Academic All-MWC team. Fall sports include men's and women's cross country, football, women's soccer and women's volleyball. To be eligible for selection, student-athletes must have completed at least one academic term at the member institution while maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better, and be a starter or significant contributor on their athletic team.
