The University of Utah volleyball team will hosts its first-ever Pac-12 Conference match TONIGHT against Oregon State. First serve is set for 7 p.m. MT. The Utes are 6-6 overall and 1-2 in Pac-12 play this season after sweeping Colorado in Boulder on Tuesday, then suffering a pair of losses at No. 2 Stanford and No. 1 California during the first weekend of Pac-12 play.

Cozy Crimson Confines: Utah is 34-11 (.756) within the friendly confines of Crimson Court since 2008. The Utes' all-time home record is 278-166 (.626) since the program's inception in 1975.
Building Blocks: Utah is tied for the Pac-12 lead with an average of 3.02 blocks per set. The Utes have outblocked their opponents in 10 of their first 12 outings this season. The Utes have limited their opponents to a 1.50 average in team blocks. Utah also maintains a .225 to .172 edge in hitting percentage through 12 matches in 2011.
Revved Up Redd: Sophomore middle blocker Erin Redd (Spanish Fork, Utah) led the Utes during the opening week of Pac-12 Conference play with a .291 hitting efficiency with 2.67 kills per set.
`Sim'-plify: Sophomore libero Nikki Sim (Salt Lake City, Utah) led the back row of the Utah defense with 4.00 digs per set last week. Sim has reached double-digits in digs in each of the last nine matches and in 11 of Utah's 12 matches this season. Sim ranks fifth in the Pac-12 with a team-high average of 4.34 digs per set.
