SALT LAKE CITY - The University of Utah volleyball team will play four exhibition events during its spring season, Ute head coach Beth Launiere announced Thursday.
The Utes begin their spring training on Monday, Feb. 27 and will start their competition schedule on Thur., Mar. 8 with an exhibition single match at Utah State in Logan, Utah.
"The winter session and the six-week spring season are so important to our success in the fall," Launiere said. "The team has been working hard and is focused on improving every day in anticipation of our second Pac-12 season."
After a week off for Spring Break on Mar. 12-16, Utah will compete at BYU on Fri., Mar. 23. The Utes will host their annual Spring Tournament on Sat., Mar. 31 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., at Crimson Court. Utah will face BYU, Utah State, Utah Valley, Weber State, Montana State, Salt Lake Community College, as well as the College of Southern Idaho.
Utah concludes its spring exhibition schedule at the Utah Valley Tournament on Sat., Apr. 14 in Orem, Utah.
The Utes went 11-20 overall last season and took ninth place during their first Pac-12 Conference season with a 6-16 record against league foes.
