Utah's Avery Ford Earns Preseason Accolade

SALT LAKE CITY - College Sports Madness has named Utah defender Avery Ford to its Pac-12 Preseason All-Conference Team.

Ford, a Honorable Mention All-Pac-12 Conference selection last year, started all 19 games as part of a defense that ranked third in the Pac-12 in goals allowed per game (1.11). She finished third on the squad with six points, assisting on back-to-back game-winning goals against Washington State and Washington. Ford also excelled in the classroom as she was named Honorable Mention Academic All Pac-12 and was one of 19 Utes named to the Athletics Academic Honor Roll both semesters.
